there are less pages in this notebook because its an old one i ripped stuff out of as a kid. it's actually for writing music, the vertical lines are staffs, but i have no ability to write music so idk why it was given to me. the pansy on the front cover is from the walls of my childhood bedroom that i'm emptying out due to moves. i'm visiting all my grandparents between living situations. i had a lot of time to draw but different wells of inspiration than usual. more internal and less spontaneous

can you tell the solitude was making me crazy. i made this freehand as a journal entry first thing in the morning. after i made the concluding panel i realized it was already self explanatory but the page is the process of me understanding

drawing with pencil and inking over briefly made sense to me and it was exciting

i got an idea for this comic on the train. flowed out. i think the thumbnails have more emotion than the final drawing but thats just how it seems to go.

well that's that one. weirdly fast turnaround between drawing it and publishing on here but my next notebook has a lot more pages so this is it for a good while. ok get out of here, go home
